200-Hour Professional Level Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training
This Training is Recommended for:

~Teachers seeking Yoga Alliance registration at the 200-hour level
Acquire the expertise and skills to communicate the practice of yoga to others while honoring your own unique voice and style. Visuddha Yoga's 200-hour program is designed to fulfill the requirements needed to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Upon completion of this training, your knowledge and experience will enable you to teach a complete Basic Visuddha Yoga program. You will receive 180 hours of direct contact with Visuddha Yoga Instructors, with additional hours to be completed outside the classroom through homework, projects and optional workshops.
This certification program features hands-on training, lectures, demonstrations and practice in asana development, breathwork, meditation, anatomy/physiology, energy anatomy, Yoga philosophy and history, guided relaxation and more. Emphasizing safety, alignment and integrity, Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training prepares teachers to assist students in co-creating an experience of integration at all levels.
When: Ten Weekends (Saturday/Sunday 8:30am-5:30pm), February-November 2010

Certification/Graduation Requirements:
Upon completion of the requirements for graduation/certification, students will receive a Certificate of Completion as graduates of the Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training program. Graduates are then eligible to apply for membership at the 200 Hour Level in the national Yoga Alliance and may be listed in the national Yoga Teachers’ Registry.

Upon completion of the requirements for graduation/certification, students will receive a Certificate of Completion as graduates of the Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training program.
Graduates are then eligible to apply for membership at the 200 Hour Level in the national Yoga Alliance and may be listed in the national Yoga Teachers’ Registry. Use of the registry mark, RYT (registered yoga teacher) in resumes, advertisements and other promotional materials is also granted to members of Yoga Alliance.
Preamble to Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct is a summation and declaration of acceptable, ethical and professional behavior by which all enrolled students and teachers of the Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training program agree to abide by.
Visuddha Yoga Code of Conduct
While enrolled as a student of the Visuddha Yoga Teacher Training program, I agree to uphold the ethical goals set forth in the following Code of Conduct:
1. Uphold the integrity of my vocation by conducting myself in a professional and conscientious manner.
2. Acknowledge the limitations of my skills and scope of practice and where appropriate, shall refer students to seek alternative instruction, advice, treatment or direction.
3. Actively encourage diversity by respecting all students regardless of age, physical limitations, race, creed, gender, ethnicity, religion affiliations or sexual orientation.
4. Respect the rights, dignity and privacy of all students.
5. Avoid words and actions that constitute sexual harassment.
6. Adhere to the best of my ability to the traditional yoga principles as written in the Yamas and Niyamas.
7. Abide by local government and national laws that pertain to my yoga teaching and practice.
